Time Flies!!!

Wow it's been a long time since I have been on here. It is going on 9 months. Where did the time go? So much has happened, where do I begin? At the beginning they say is a good place! Let's see after my last post, the holidays came and went. For Halloween I made my Grandson another super hero costume. By the time it was finished he was already planning what one I should make next. LOL

After get
ting Batman done I started Christmas presents. I managed to make gifts for everyone on my list. I was very proud of myself. My list had 13 people on it this time. Seven of them were children ranging from 15 to 4 in age. For the girls I made loveseats with pillows and a crocheted rug for their Barbie dolls. The youngest niece I made a sundress with matching hat and a crocheted elephant. For the two older boys (nephews) I made message/photo boards. My Grandson got a crocheted race track with pylons and safety barrels. I also made him a SpongeBob Squarepants pillow.

In February I made an afghan for my Grandson's 5th birthday. He loved it! I thought I had a photo of it, but can't find it. Some where in those busy months my daughter told us she was expecting. I love the way she did it, we met her and Jeffrey at Walmart. When I found them Jeffrey was wearing a new t-shirt. Guess what it said, "I'm the big brother"! Surprise!!!!! Of course that started the juices flowing for baby things to make.

In March there are a lot of birthdays. I have for the last few years, gotten my children over to celebrate them with Corned Beef and cabbage. My daughter's birthday is, you guess it, St. Patty's day. My son's is on the 29 and my son-in-law's is the 31. With 4 other birthdays and 2 anniversaries that month too. I made something for the kids, an afghan with pillow, a denim quilt and a pillow case and a car organizer.

June was another busy month, on the 12th was a wedding shower for my son Mark and his fiance Pam. So of course a gift was needed and I volunteered to make prizes for some of the games. On the 18th was our family reunion with a luau theme that I planned for a year. It was a great success! July 1 brought our new grand-baby, Ally Michael. Let's see I made her a crocheted dress, two afghans, burping cloths, a crocheted baby giraffe (Big brother got one too) and you just know that there will be a lot more on grandma's list to do...lol!

So now you are all caught up on my last busy 9 months. The next 9 should be just as busy, believe you me! Craft fairs to do, costumes to make and Christmas present to work on. Hmmm, make a list girl or you will never get it all done! lol
